Indoor Soccer
Team configuration below is based on the number of registrants and the birth year of the players who registered:
Born 2003/2004 (U6), 8 teams of 6 co-ed, starts Oct 4 Born 2001/2002 (U8), 8 teams of 10 co-ed, starts Oct 4 Born 1998/1999/2000 boys only (BU11), 6 teams of 12, starts Oct 4 Born 1998/1999/2000 girls only (GU11), 4 teams of 12, starts Oct 4 Born 1996/1997 boys only (BU13), 4 teams of 12, Oct 4 Born 1996/1997/1998 girls only (GU13), 4 teams of 12, starts Sep 29, and also Oct 4 Born 1992-1995 boys only (BU17), 6 teams of 11, starts Sep 30 Born 1992-1995 girls only (GU17), 6 teams of 11, starts Oct 1 Playing times will be in 1-hour increments as follows: U6 - Saturdays, 9:00 to 10:00 am U8 - Saturdays, 10:00 am to Noon (can play at either 10:00 or 11:00 am) U11 and U13 - Saturdays, Noon to 7:00 pm, Mondays, 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Due to the number of teams, each team may have 2 or 3 games that will be played on a Monday night. Each team can play at any hour on Saturdays between Noon and 7:00 pm or Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. U17 Boys - Tuesdays, 6:00 to 9:00 pm U17 Girls - Wednesdays, 6:00 to 9:00 pm
Player team assignments can now be viewed by clicking on the link at the top right corner of this page (Player team and skill session assignment) Initials of the child, birth year and last 2 digits of your phone number should identify the age group and team number to which your child is assigned. While we do not believe these will change, contact by a coach will indicate your official placement.
You will notice that some team numbers are highlighted: these teams do NOT have a coach. If you are interested in coaching your child’s team, please contact the GSC office at info@georgetownsoccerclub.com as soon as possible so we can ensure the teams have coaches. Even if your team may have a coach, but there are open spaces in that age group, please come forward if you want to coach and your child will be reasigned to your team. There are no practices to hold, just games that have to be coached. We are especially low in the U8 group. There will be a staff coach who runs and supports the coaches on the first half of the skills session for the U8, after which the coaches then run the game session. You do not need experience and the staff coach will be there to assist if need be.
Team schedules are now posted. (See link at the top of page (Oct-Dec Indoor Schedule) All players will receive socks, shorts and shirts and must provide shin pads; soccer cleats are recommended for the turf field. Your coach will make arrangements with you to get your uniforms, in most cases, it will be ½ hour before your first scheduled game. As a courtesy to the Acton Indoor facility, please be careful not to track in any mud or dirt onto the field. Only water is allowed in the field area. Sorry parents, no coffee, but you can drink your coffee or other beverage outside the field area in the viewing area.

Initials of the child, birth year and last 2 digits of your phone number should identify the session(s) you are currently registered in. Please determine if you are in fact registered in the session as indicated. Please contact the GSC (Sue Wintjes) at info@georgetownsoccerclub.com if you find any discrepancies, or if you have any questions.
Goaltender Sessions: It is quite possible that the goaltender sessions will be cancelled for Oct-Dec due to a lack of participants. If that is the case, you are welcome to a full refund, or if you prefer, you may participate in the skill sessions that are offered at the same time that the goaltender sessions were to run. GSC will contact you, to determine your preference.
